Hook-up offers expanded choice of IP-based security solutions

London, U.K. and Paramus, NJ, October 07, 2004 --DVTel Inc., Security Industry Association award-winning market leader in delivering integrated IP security solutions for surveillance and monitoring, today announced that DVTel and Axis Communications now offer complete integration between the DVTel Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) and Axis new generation of network cameras and video servers.

Market leaders join up to offer expanded solutions

To provide its customers with a much wider choice of solutions, DVTels Latitude NVMS now integrates with network video products developed by Axis, the proven market leader with a global market share of 60% in network cameras and 35% in video servers. The partnership allows Axis to achieve integration with a company that focuses solely on IP solutions and has developed a leading reputation in the enterprise level market. Together, DVTel and Axis now offer end users the powerful benefits of IP-based security management, including increased functionality, greater cost-efficiencies, scalability, flexibility, and a highly future-proof investment.

DVTel has been talking a great deal lately about the freedom we offer end users, said DVTel President and CEO Eli Gorovici. By that we mean that our software platform enables the freedom of hardware choice, information and data inputs, integration potential, and overall peace of mind in terms of sound investment and system performance. Our integration with Axis new generation of products greatly enhances the level of freedom and performance end users can expect from DVTel.

Our new relationship with DVTel is perfectly in line with our strategy to create alliances with companies that have a strong presence in the enterprise market, said Fredrik Nilsson, general manager for Axis Communications. According to J.P. Freeman, by 2008 more than 50% of all surveillance cameras will be network cameras. DVTel is one of the few companies with a primary focus on IP solutions. Together, I am confident this relationship will strengthen both of our offerings, and it will further support Axis continued strong growth and leadership in the IP surveillance market.
