The Deloitte European Technology Fast 500 awards for the year 2004 were announced this month. This annual ranking reveals the leaders of the European technology industry chosen from 21 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It is the most objective industry-ranking standard to focus on the technology sector. Researched and sponsored by the Deloitte Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Industry Group, the 500 public and private companies on this prestigious list have earned the distinction of being the fastest-growing companies within the technology sector based on five-year revenue performance.
Milestone Systems A/S has now been chosen two years in a row for having achieved 349% and 416% growth rates. A developer of intelligent IP video surveillance operating systems, Milestone makes software designed with open architecture, allowing customers the widest choice of hardware from manufacturers of video cameras and computer servers connected to a LAN, WAN or the Internet. Milestone solutions are operating on more than 75,000 cameras worldwide, in a wide scope of industries.
