| For warehouse CCTV, Pelco (Stand C6) is the latest fashion |
For its fashion garment distribution business in Europe, TNT Fashion Group operates through a new Euro Hub warehouse facility that relies entirely on Pelco CCTV products to provide full security cover throughout the site. |

At this Euro Hub, fashion garments arrive from manufacturers located around EEC and are then distributed by TNT Fashion Group to the retail customers in designated European countries

Designed and installed by Chester based Integrated systems specialists MAC Vision, the CCTV system at the TNT Fashion Group Euro Hub includes eight Pelco Spectra 111 dome cameras, providing all the external surveillance requirements. Inside the massive warehouse complex are an additional 22 static Pelco CC3710H digital CCD colour cameras, suitably positioned to give full coverage throughout the warehouse.
All these Pelco CCTV cameras are then linked to two Pelco DX8000 digital video recorders within a central control office and are connected to the internal network at TNT Fashion Group enabling various managers to access the system at any time.

According to Ashley Holt, Technical Director from MAC Vision, This new Pelco based CCTV system provides all the security surveillance requirements at the TNT site and went live in autumn this year. Already TNT Fashion Group is extremely pleased with the functionality from the Pelco products, whilst also commenting that the DX8000 digital video recorders are extremely easy to operate.
Jon Webster, Security Manager European Operations for TNT Fashion Group adds, "The Pelco DX8000 units and cameras at our Euro Hub have assisted greatly in the day to day operation of the site as key operational managers have immediate, clear and precise images of the operation throughout the entire Hub. This has allowed the security department to fully integrate a security culture amongst employees whilst demonstrating that the capabilities of specific security systems can and do assist the main operation." |
