About Kevin Fagan
Kevin started his career in the Security Industry over 30 years ago. After building a successful electronic security installation business he decided to turn his hand to distribution and created Video Imaging Supplies (VIS) back in 1994.
It was during his time with VIS that he first became interested in Networking and IP. The company commenced selling this exciting new technology in 1996 when it signed a sole distribution agreement for the UK with a then unknown little company called Axis Communications.
Seizing on the market opportunities that he felt IP offered, in 1998 the company launched a new division named Ethernetcctv with the prime business aim of supporting IP and created the UK hub for the technology with a web site named www.ethernetcctv.com.
VIS was acquired by Upperpoint (Norbain) in December 2001.
